Paul Shamplina – Landlord Action

Paul who is one of the founding partners of Landlord Action, has worked within in the legal system for 17 years – focusing on landlord/tenant disputes. As a certified bailiff he has acted on behalf of landlords with bad tenants, and has gained enormous expertise in the process and court proceedings.  As a recognised expert he has spoken at numerous landlord association events sharing his vast knowledge with both private and corporate landlords.

Landlord Action are recongnised partners of many of the leading landlord associations including the National Landlords Association (NLA) and the Residential Landlords Association (RLA).

They came about when they reaslied that many solicitors who offered eviction services for landlords, were not offering an adeqate service. Through research (just a few hours on the phone) they uncovered that many solicitors lacked knowledge about the process and were unable to provide a set fee for reclaiming lost rents or evicting tenants. The prices quoted included hourly rates, and almost all the solicitors wanted monies on account ranging from £400 to £1000 without any indication of how long the process would take and if there would be any additional costs.

Then, one of the landlords met an expert in the legal procedures dealing with landlord/tenant issues. And so Landlord Action was born.

Not for photocopies, stamps or phone calls (and not for disbursements because that’s a term lawyers use and most people don’t even know what it means.)
